The Upper Court of Yesterday is one of the seven active [[Bright Courts]] of [[Arcadia]], formed in the middle [[Dark Age]] by the magical catastrophe known as [[The Concordance]], c. NIR 1750. It is one of the four active [[Concordant Courts]]. It is a fusion two [[Midnight Courts]], specifically [[The Upper Court]] and [[The Court of Yesterday]].

The Court is an exploration of the [[Strange Essences]] of Location and Time. It is founded on a philosophy of memory. Its twin rulers, [[The Cartographer Queen]] and [[The Hearth King]] believe that meaning is not undiscovered, it is forgotten and must be remembered. Their obsessions are with histories and stories. The Court is populated by [[Trolls]] and [[Brownies]].
