	...		The myth of Cambion began as a mortal child that knew every language. By adulthood, he became a scholar that wrote a treatise unifying elements of languages across the Shards. His achievements impressed even the Exarchs of Wodhain. It was the Exarchs of Pattern that recommended Cambion take Wodhain's place. In reality, Cambion's achievements were all carefully planned and planted by his true identity as [[The Astral Dragon]], as part of [[Xevanezral's Gambit]].

			One of Cambion's most noteworthy achievements as God of Pattern was [[The Binding of Babel]]. The [[Codex Spiral]] created by Wodhain was largely confusing in its architecture, a reflection of the disparate minds of [[Mortals]]. However, Cambion was able to create the earliest maps of the Codex Spiral, including marking key milestones that made traversing the library-city somewhat feasible. While seen as an achievement in increasing understanding of Pattern, it was actually a step in The Astral Dragon's plans to increase the influence it had over Mortal thought.
