The Dancing Court is one of the seven active Bright Courts of Arcadia, renamed in the early Dark Age. It was renamed by the Fey God, The Wayward King, c. NIR 1360. It was previously known as The Wandering Court. It is one of the ten active Midnight Courts.
The Court remains an exploration of the Strange Essence of Action. It is still founded on a philosophy of endless change. The Wayward King's obsession expanded after The War of Erasure, however, to include dance as an expression of motion that brings meaning. The Court is still populated by Whirligigs.
