Much about how Reavers gain their power is unknown, but Integral scholars and others have learned something about them. Reavers themselves rarely have a clear understanding of their power.
History
Reavers did not begin to appear in The Integrum until the Shattered Age when cosmic cataclysms caused the energies of Titans to begin to leak into the natural world.
