The Court remains an exploration of the Strange Essence of Quantity, but was relegated to the Bleak inflection. It is founded on a philosophy of cardinality. The Keening Women believe that meaning can only be found through understanding the numerological significance of how much there is. Their obsession is with costs, believing everything has a cost and every cost must be paid in full. The Court is still populated by Hags.
