Overview

Imperialspeak or Imperial (Commonspeak), also Acrologia (Imperialspeak \ˈækroʊˌloʊɡiə\ for language of Acrolon), was named for its association with The Empire of Acrolon. It is inspired by real world ancient Latin.

History

Imperialspeak was the dominant cultural language of most Mortal species during the last half of the Shattered Age, during the height of the Empire of Acrolon. It fell out of use during the Dark Age, when Darkspeak became the dominant language in Acrolon, Elfspeak returned as the dominant language of Pelithos, Vasharan became the dominant language of Vashar, and Radiant became the dominant language of Tonwei Unchained.
