Its name comes from the the titan [[Radiant Heaven]] who heavily influenced orc culture. It is inspired by Mandarin Chinese.

| Radiant developed out of [[Orctongue]] as the dominant language of the orcs during [[Dark Age]], when the titan Radiant Heaven saved the orcs from annihilation at the hands of the freed titans after [[The Fall]]. Radiant has been the dominant language ever since the early Dark Age.
