Overview

Foundertongue (Commontongue), also Am (Foundertongue \ɑm\ for edict), also known as Truespeech (Commontongue), is named for its association with the Founders who presumably created it. It is inspired by real world Hebrew.

History

Foundertongue originated with the Founders who arrived in the universe at the beginning of the First Age. It has persisted through history as the language of Servitors.

Cosmology

Foundertongue is a magical language of The Integrum in that when spoken, written, or gestured, it can be understood by any creature born of The Integrum. Similarly, a creature that knows Foundertongue can inherently understand any spoken, written, or gestured language of The Integrum.
