This category enumerates types and individual heralds of the gods of the Integrum.

Overview

Heralds (Enchiridian) get their name from the fact that they are meant to be champions and defenders of the Integrum.

Lore about Heralds is extensive and accurate. They are probably the best understood Path to Power in the universe, as the source of their power is knowledge held by Gods and servitors, and has been studied by arcanists and the Heralds themselves.

History

Heralds did not exist until the early Shattered Age. They were created by the Founders to assist with the repair of the Integrum after The Shattering, by distributing the power to maintain the Grand Designs throughout the shards. They have been part of the Integrum and its function ever since.

Abilities

Heralds are granted power through authority to mortals. In the case of the Heralds, Authority is bestowed through a ritual attunement to a talisman of the Integrum, lesser than, but similar to the divine focus that grants Gods their Authority over the Integrum.

Authority bestows Heralds power in two distinct manners.

Enhancement

Heraldry bestows powers of personal enhancement to its wielders. Heralds gain enhanced mental and physical durability, as well as enhanced faculties, such as skill of craft and combat. These enhancements do not reach the same level as Mastery Paths to Power, but they extend well beyond the normal limits of mortal ability.
