Etymology
The Contest Eternal (Enchiridian, Furytongue: Ulukaru, meaning ultimate battle), or more briefly the Contest, was the conflict for supremacy among the Template:Category Titans during the Template:Category Lost Age.
Lore
Lore about the Contest Eternal comes through the Template:Category Primals that have survived, primarily the Template:Category Immortals and Template:Category Titans and their cults. As these two groups of Primals are ancient enemies, it is difficult to reconcile their accounts through their biases, exaggerations, and deceptions.
Causes
It is understood that the Contest Eternal is eternal and that it will not stop until a single Titan emerges victorious. However, the Contest was primarily conducted during the Lost Age when the Titans were still free. The Foundation War of the Template:Category First Age interrupted the Contest.
Major Events
The goal of the Contest Eternal is for a Titan to rise as the single consciousness, the single will dominant over the entire universe. There are two primary mechanisms by which the power of Titans is consolidated: Fusion and Dominion.
