Reframing was a powerful Strange magical tactic deployed by The Concordant Queen during The War of Erasure. As a defense against Denial warfare, Reframing allowed The Court of Alignment to evolve their philosophical hypothesis. This meant that instead of being dissolved, her Court was transformed into a new Court with a new philosophical hypothesis.

Though the act of Reframing has only occurred once, it is difficult to speculate how repeatable the Strange magical strategy is, but in theory, Fey believe that any Fey God of sufficient cleverness and willpower could Reframe their philosophical hypothesis to transform their Court into something new.

One of the most profound results of Reframing was that it split all Strange Essence into a two inflections, or "flavors". It is generally believed that this was required for Lolth's tactic to succeed. The philosophical hypothesis of the Court of Alignment could not be adequately synthesized by one Strange Essence, so her argument split all Strange Essences into Bleak and Bright interpretations, and she became the only Fey God to embody one of each, hence her new title of The Two-Fold Queen.
