The Wandering Court

The Wandering Court was one of the Shattered Courts of Arcadia, formed in the late Shattered Age. It was founded by the Fey God, The Wayward King. It was renamed The Dancing Court after The War of Erasure, c. NIR 1400.

The Court was an exploration of the Strange Essence of Action. It was founded on a philosophy of endless change. The Wayward King believed that meaning could be found by letting go of any kind of stability and embracing change. He was obsessed with exploration as an embodiment of this philosophy. It was populated by Whirligigs.

After The War of Erasure, The Wandering Court was relegated to the Bright inflection of Action and The Wayward King's obsessions shifted somewhat to be about dance, movement as a form of meaning and comfort. This caused the Court to be renamed The Dancing Court.
