Overview
Oscillia (Imperial \ˌɑsˈɪliə\) was given its current name at the end of the Shattered Age for its numerous battlefields strewn with dead bodies, as a result of Sindra's March. Lore about Oscillia is common, complete, and accurate. It has been studied by countless historians and scholars.
History
In the early Shattered Age, Agria was named Lenhaugr in Nortongue, meaning long hill, because of densely hilly terrain. It was renamed Milcolles, meaning 1000 hills early in the Imperial Age, as Imperial became the dominant language of the Shard, named for the same hilly features. It's current name was bestowed after Sindra's March, toward the end of the Shattered Age, referring to the countless bones of dead and undead alike after the brutal war.
