Overview

Foundertongue (Enchiridian, Foundertongue: Am or Amirath, meaning declaration and edict, respectively), also known as Truespeech, is the language of the founders. It is spoken by servitors and is written into some portions of The Apparatus. It is a fictional language inspired by Hebrew.

History

Foundertongue originated with the founders who arrived in the universe at the beginning of the First Age. It is generally only spoken by creatures other than servitors.

Cosmology

It has the unique quality of being understood by any creature of the Integrum who can understand a language. Similarly, it has the unusual quality that anyone who can speak Foundertongue can also understand any language spoken by an Integral creature.
