The Wandering Court

The Wandering Court was one of the Shattered Courts of Arcadia, formed in the late Shattered Age. It was founded by the Fey God, The Wayward King.

The Court was an exploration of the Strange Essence of Action. It was founded on a philosophy of endless change. The Wayward King believed that meaning could be found by letting go of any kind of stability and embracing change. He was obsessed with exploration as an embodiment of this philosophy. It was populated by Whirligigs.

After The War of Erasure caused the separation of Bright and Bleak philosophical inflections, The Wandering Court was relegated to the Bright inflection and was renamed The Dancing Court, one of the Midnight Courts. However, since The Dancing Court has the same Fey species and same Fey God, it is generally considered the same Court.
