Authority is a kind of power in universe, and the basis for several Template:Category Paths to Power, such as Heraldry and Mastery. It is also the power of Template:Category Gods and Template:Category Servitors. It's name comes from the fact that The Apparatus is a mechanism, and that certain creatures possess authority over the behavior of that mechanism. In this way, Authority grants the ability to change the behavior of The Apparatus, and by extension, The Integrum.
