The Court of Alignment

The Court of Alignment was one of the Ancient Courts of Arcadia, formed in the early Shattered Age. It was founded by the Fey God, The Concordant Queen. It was transformed into The Court of Genuflection and The Bleeding Court through Reframing during The War of Erasure.

The Court was an exploration of the Strange Essence of Orientation. It was founded on a philosophy of harmony. The Concordant Queen believed that meaning is found in the balancing all of the Essences in relation to each other. The Court was populated by the Spindles.

As a result of The War of Erasure, and specifically the Queen's use of Reframing as a defense against the attack, The Court of Alignment was radically changed. Through a violent philosophical realignment, it transformed into both The Court of Genuflection and The Bleeding Court. Since these courts have radically different philosophies and Fey species, they are generally considered as entirely separate from The Court of Alignment, even though they have the same Fey God (sort of).
