The Forgotten Court

The Forgotten Court was originally known as The Court of Circumstance. It was one of the Ancient Courts of Arcadia, formed in the early Shattered Age. It was founded by the Fey God, The King Who Never Was, c. NIR 420. It was eradicated at the end of The War of Erasure, c. NIR 1350.

The Court was an exploration of the Strange Essence of Condition. It was founded on a philosophy of luck and chaos. The King Who Never Was believed that meaning is not something that can be found, it is something that the universe bestows as a matter of unknowable fortune. The Court was populated by the Pucks.

The Forgotten Court started The War of Erasure in the late Shattered Age. However, when the Court attempted to attack The Concordant Queen, they were outmatched. She not only defeated The King Who Never Was, she escalated the conflict by using Erasure, a tactic which removed the entire Strange Essence of Condition which the Court was founded upon. This resulted in the erasure of The King Who Never Was and the entire race of Pucks.
