Overview
Agria (Imperial \ˈæɡriə\) was given its current name during the late Shattered Age for its large expanses of fertile farmland. Lore about Agria is common, complete, and accurate. It has been studied by countless historians and scholars, and has been a continuous part of civilization in Acrolon.
History
In the early Shattered Age, Agria was named Vestrland in Nortongue, meaning west land, because of its geographical placement on the continent. It was renamed Agria during the Imperial Age, as Imperial became the dominant language of the Shard, named for its sprawling, fertile land.
Cosmology
Agria is a fairly typical for a region of a Shard realm.
Geography
Agria is roughly 800 miles north to south and 630 miles east to west.
It is comprised of the following regions:
- Cervale: Southern forested region
- Glimmervale: Central, capitol region
- Shorewall: Northern hilly and mountainous region
- Southerland: Southern plains region
- The Fingers: Largely uninhabited, marshy region
