This category enumerates members of the Angel species of Servitor.

Crowned (Enchiridian, Imperial: coronar \ˈkɔrʌˌnɑr\, meaning crowned walker) are named for their strong association with evil and darkness. They are the most powerful and rarest variety of Devil. Lore about The Crowned is plentiful and accurate, though less plentiful than the more common varieties of Devil.

In the Dawn Age, the nine most powerful Crowned in service to Excrucius were bound to protect Lily, the White Queen of Acrolon. This was a concession made by Excrucius for his role in the Dark Age.

Crowned hold the most important responsibilities among the Servitors of Night. This typically includes defense of the Moons, service to the Gods of Night, and promoting selfishness and ambition among the most powerful Servitors of other Grand Designs.

While most Crowned do not have a distinct society of their own, the Red Guard of Acrolon are a coalition of Crowned bound in service to Lily, the White Queen.

Crowned appear as extraordinarily tall (3+ meters) mortals clad in black armor and inky black cloaks. The type of mortal they appear as is determined by which Shard they manifest on. For example, a Crowned manifest on Acrolon would appear as a Human. They wield great axes. They fly with leathery bat-like wings.

  • Personality: Stoic, restrained, rarely speaks. Feels cursed to protect what he once sought to destroy. Cold stoicism hides the pain of failures in the Dark Age. Loyalty is his religion and betrayal is the ultimate crime.

  • Specialty: Unbreakable shield-bearer and bodyguard.
  • Quarry: Oath breakers, deserters, betrayers of trust.
• Whisperblight, the Broken Smile (feminine)
  • Mask: Delicate porcelain split by a crack across the mouth.
  • Crown: Rusted lattice of silver threads that hover an inch above her head.
  • Personality: Soft-spoken, cryptic, always listening. Pretends not to care, but is deeply protective of Lily. Views secrets as weapons, and those who wield them as monsters. She can hear the truths people keep even from themselves.
  • Quirk: Can only speak in whispers, but they carry across any distance.
  • Specialty: Interrogator, infiltrator, master of manipulation.
  • Quarry: Spies, blackmailers, and those who harm with secrets.
• Ashlock, the Will Binder (masculine)
  • Mask: Bronze with no eye holes.
  • Crown: Ring of heavy chain links.
  • Personality: Obsessively obedient to rules and contracts. Refers to himself and other in legal terms, like "plaintiff" and "party". Knows every legal code of every Shard Realm.
  • Quirk: Constantly mutters laws from forgotten civilizations.
  • Specialty: Heavy-handed enforcer.
  • Quarry: The mad and unstable.
• Blissbane, the Voice Under the Floor (feminine)
  • Mask: Smiling golden mask fused to her face.
  • Crown: Gleaming gold, polished daily.
  • Personality: Overly cheerful, disconcertingly affectionate. Hates happiness in others. Views joy as the ultimate lie and destroys those who profit from it.
  • Quirk: Laughs when others cry, weeps when others laugh.
  • Specialty: Inducer of despair and madness, the face of the nine.
  • Quarry: False prophets, cult leaders, and charismatic manipulators.
• Harrowhand, the Butcher Queen (feminine)
  • Mask: Shattered bone stitched with wire, always bleeding.
  • Crown: Jagged obsidian crown embedded in his scalp.
  • Personality: The most overtly violent. Lives for battle but grudgingly respects Lily's command. Respects battle but despises bullies. Seeks to break the backs of those who impose will through violence.
  • Quirk: Keeps a tally of everyone he's killed, etched on his armor, weapon, and skin.
  • Specialty: Executioner and terror-bringer.
  • Quarry: Rapists and abusers of the weak.
• Sablethorn, the Mourning Blade (feminine)
  • Mask: A long-nosed mask shaped like a bird.
  • Crown: A black, briar-like crown that grows and sheds thorns.
  • Personality: Melancholy and poetic. Speaks in riddles and old rhymes. She speaks with a gentle and melancholic voice. Her victims die as if in a nightmare.
  • Quirk: Has a strong smell of acid.
  • Specialty: Hexes, curses, and dream manipulation.
  • Quarry: Liars who profit from grief, grave robbers, con artists.
• Grimtooth, the Voracious Fool (masculine)
  • Mask: Grotesquely grinning mask with sharpened teeth.
  • Crown: Crown of barbed bronze spikes.
  • Personality: Lecherous, impulsive, thinks of himself as the group's charming one. Pretends to be light-hearted and lewd, but is driven by a savage hatred of those who corrupt innocence.
  • Quirk: Cannot pass a mirror without complimenting his own reflection.
  • Specialty: Illusions, emotional manipulation.
  • Quarry: Those who profit from addiction.
• Gloamworm, the Watcher in the Hollow (masculine)
  • Mask: Blank black plate with a single tear carved into it.
  • Crown: Ring of massive teeth.
  • Personality: Quiet and loyal. A reluctant warrior with a deep sense of guilt. Speaks little and stares into space. Has a supernatural sense for guild, even if buried deep in denial.
  • Quirk: Always stands facing the horizon. Never lets his back turn to open space.
  • Specialty: Warden of forbidden places, master of stealth and shadow.
  • Quarry: Murderers and crimes of rage and vengeance.
• Kingfall, the Crownless Ascendant (non-binary)
  • Mask: Regal and serene, scorched on one side.
  • Crown: A broken replica of Lily's own coronet.
  • Personality: Believes himself to be the true monarch and views Lily with a mix of reverence and envy. Worships Lily in a twisted sort of way. Views those who seek power as blasphemous.
  • Quirk: Always calls people "little sister" and "little brother".
  • Specialty: Command and strategy.
  • Quarry: Thieves and crimes of greed.
