Lightborn (Enchiridian, Imperial: Planetar \plænəˈtɑr\, meaning realm walker) are named for their tendency to travel between the Sun and the mortal realms. They are a greater form of power for Angels. Lore about Lightborn is common and accurate, coming from Gods, Heralds, and other Servitors.

The history of Lightborn is not notably distinct from other Angels.

As greater Servitors of Day, Lightborn serve important functions. They often act as messengers and honor guard for Solar or Gods of Day. They also often organize and lead groups of Dawnlings toward a common purpose.

Like all Servitors, Lightborn do not have a distinct society of their own.

Lightborn appear as tall (2+ meter) mortals with gemstone skin, such as sapphire, emerald, or ruby. The mortal they appear as us determined by the Shard they manifest in. For example, a Lightborn manifest on Acrolon would appear Human. They are clad in white robes and wield silvery great swords.
