Overview

The Integral Reckoning (Enchiridian), abbreviated OIR and NIR, gets its name from its measuring of time across The Integrum, outside of any specific cultural reference. OIR stands for Old Integral Reckoning and NIR stands for New Integral Reckoning.

Details

The Integral Reckoning calendar marks its beginning in the year 10602 OIR, which was the arrival of the Founders in the universe. Old Integral Reckoning ends at the end of OIR 1, which marks the beginning of the Time Storm of The Shattering. New Integral Reckoning picks up at NIR 1, which marks the end of the Time Storm. While year 0 of the Integral Reckoning calendar is officially marked as a year, no one knows how long the Time Storm lasted. Some Shards allege centuries of history during this year of the Integral calendar.
