History

Darkspeak overtook Imperialspeak as the dominant language of the Humans in the early Dark Age, as the language became corrupted by Demonic speech of the servants of Lascivia, the Archdemon that corrupted the remnants of the Empire of Acrolon. After the fall of Lascivia, Darkspeak was forbidden and was replaced by Dawnspeak, a version of Imperial that had survived the Dark Age.
