Norspeak or Old Nor (Commonspeak), also Nortalan (Norspeak \ˈnɔrtɪˌlɑn\ for speech of the nor), was the ancient language once used by the Humans of Acrolon. It is now only rarely understood by the most enthusiastic scholars of the ancient world. It is inspired by real world Old Norse language.

History

Norspeak was spoken by the Humans that awakened in Acrolon at the start of the Shattered Age. In the latter Shattered Age a cultural shift to Imperialspeak took place, as a result of the rise of the Empire of Acrolon, and Norspeak fell out of use.
