The Court of Here was one of the Shattered Courts of Arcadia, formed in the late Shattered Age. It was founded by the Fey God, The Cartographer Queen, c. NIR 950. It was renamed The Upper Court shortly after The War of Erasure, c. 1400. It was fused with The Court of Yesterday during The Concordance, c. 1750, creating The Upper Court of Yesterday, as it is known today.

The Court was an exploration of the Strange Essence of Location. It was founded on a philosophy of arrangements. The Cartographer Queen believed that meaning could be found through the the understanding of where things are and where things are supposed to be. Her own obsession was with games of position, and she invented many of them, such as chess. The Court was populated by Trolls.

After The War of Erasure, The Crystal Court was relegated to the Bright inflection of Location and The Cartographer Queen's obsessions shifted somewhat to be about not just games of position, but winning those games. This caused the Court to be renamed The Upper Court.
