Overview
Imperial (Enchiridian, Imperial: Acrologia, meaning language of Acrolon) was the language spoken by the humans, dwarves, fey, and orcs of the Empire of Acrolon. It is inspired by ancient Latin.
History
Imperial was spoken by most of the mortal races during the last half of the Shattered Age, during the reign of the Empire of Acrolon. It replaced Feytongue, Dwarftongue, Orctongue, and Nortongue as the dominant language of the mortal races. It fell out of use during the Dark Age, when Darktongue became the dominant language for the humans, Feytongue returned as the dominant language of the fey, Hightongue became the dominant language of the dwarves, and Radiant became the dominant language of the orcs.
