Aphagion, Wind Which Destroys

Overview

Aphagion (Elftongue \əˈfeɪʤˌiɑn\ for no eater), also Sha'abelak (Foundertongue \ʃɑʔˈɑbəˌlɑk\ for almighty hunger), also known as The Wind Which Destroys, is named for its association with endless hunger. Like all Eldritch Gods, lore about Aphagion is exceptionally rare and incomplete. The lore comes primarily from scholars who have studied the Obyrith and Eldritch Orisons. It is the God of the Otyugh.

History

Aphagion, like all Eldritch Gods, is considered to be among the oldest Strange Gods. Aphagion appeared in the universe during The Shattering.

Description

Aphagion appears as towering mass of muscle and sinew completely covered in gaping, grinning, and drooling mouths. Some of the teeth are humanoid, some are bestial, and others are alien and monstrous.

Personality

Aphagion, like all Eldritch Gods, cannot be said to have a coherent personality. Its only discernable motivation seems to be an obsession with hunger.

Orisons

Like all Eldritch Gods, it is not clear what draws Aphagion's attention to a Mortal to create an Orison.
