Overview
Aedifica (Imperial \aɪˈdɪˌfəkə\) is named for her passion for invention and creation. Lore about Aedifica is common and accurate, coming from centuries of scholarship, Heralds, Servitors, and other Gods.
History
Aedifica was born in the Shattered Age in the body of a mortal Human man named Draxis. She was born in the city of Volis, located in the region now known as Malocia. Volis was famous for magical forges, temples of Form where magic and machines were brought together to advance understanding and invention. Her parents were Heralds of Form in such temples. Living as Draxis, Aedifica was a genius inventor and wizard. By age six, Aedifica had built her first functioning magical construct. It burned down the workshop. By age twenty, she had rebuilt it tenfold better. However, Aedifica was deeply uncomfortable in her body, though she couldn't tell why.
Her magical inventions became increasingly incredible, inventing autonomous constructions of magic. She crafted an army of constructs called The Clockwork Choir (called The Clockwork Horrors by their enemies). It is asserted by many historians that this magical army turned the tide of The Realm War in favor of Acrolon. This achievements earned her ascension to be an Exarch to Anyot, the Shard God of Form in Acrolon.
When Anyot died, like many other Shard Gods of Acrolon in The First Godswar of the Shattered Age, Aedifica was promoted to become the new Primarch of Form in Acrolon, which she has remained ever since.
In the Dark Age, during The Fall, Aedifica, still living as a masculine God, seemed to go briefly mad. Something about the cataclysm seemed to break something in her mind. Through the efforts of her Exarch Makal during the Dawn Age, she was able to mend her mind and realize the source of her discomfort. In so doing, she finally began living harmoniously as Aedifica, the woman God she is known by today.
Description
Aedifica's peaceful form is that of a tall, pale, impossibly thin Nor woman with long, white, braided hair. She wears a variety of clockwork devices, such as an eyepiece with various lenses. She wears a utilitarian dark tunic that appears to be made of leather.
Her war form is that of a slender woman in delicate plates of armor. From her back unfolds multiple mechanical arms with tools at the end. She wields an arc-wand that can form a wide variety implements of energy.

Personality
Aedifica is an impossibly calm and calculating woman. Behind her eyes run endless calculations, which her irises seem to be constantly scanning. She rarely speaks, but when she does, it is in a rapid monotone.
She is largely unconcerned with the habits of her Heralds, leaving them to tend to Grand Design of Form in the manner they choose.
Abilities
Aedifica's most notable ability is her staggering intellect for invention and craft. Empowered by her Divine Focus, she has created two noteworthy inventions. The first is The Golemance. This is a massive, clockwork palace that walks on four legs. It serves as Aedifica's roaming palace. The second is the species of Godwrought. These beings are not true Servitors of The Integrum, but are a powerful and numerous species of autonomous constructs that serve Aedifica.
Exarchs
- The Golemance, The Striding Palace, a unique construct the size of a massive palace walking on clockwork legs.
- Makal, The Stone Man, a member of the Goliath species of self-aware constructs who helped heal Aedifica's dysmorphia.
- Viretta, The City Scribe, a human woman who focuses on the Telar of cities and considers them as constructions.
