Overview

The Astral Sky (Commontongue) is named for the fact that it comprises the sky of the shards and it also is where the astral prisons are located.

Lore about the Astral Sky is uncommon and incomplete. Other than being a place for the astral prisons to exist, it is not clear why the astral sky exists in the manner that it does. Most gods consider it an aesthetic choice by the Founders.

History

The Astral Sky was created by Founders in the First Age during the Integration. It has persisted throughout the subsequent ages and is still part of the Integrum today. Along with the Great Barrier, the Astral Sky is part of the Integrum that was not sundered by The Shattering.
