The Crystal Court

The Crystal Court was one of the Shattered Courts of Arcadia, formed in the late Shattered Age. It was founded by the Fey God, The Wayward King, c. NIR 930. It was renamed The Sugar Court shortly after The War of Erasure, c. 1400. It was fused with The Greater Court during The Concordance, c. 1750, creating The Greater Sugar Court, as it is known today.

The Court was an exploration of the Strange Essence of Substance. It was founded on a philosophy of excellence. The Candy King believed that meaning could be found through the pursuit of mastery, no matter the sort. His own obsession was with craft and tinkering. It was populated by Gnomes.

After The War of Erasure, The Crystal Court was relegated to the Bright inflection of Substance and The Candy King's obsessions shifted somewhat to be about experienced satisfaction, the resolution of endeavor, the completion. This caused the Court to be renamed The Sugar Court.
