| The age of Shattered Courts occurred for a variety of reasons, but one consistent theme is a deep connection between the [[Elves]] of [[Pelithos]] and [[The Strange Sea]]. Most scholars this began during [[Zero Year]], with the formation of the [[The White Tree]] which connected the divinity of Pelithos with Strange. Some Elves just seemed to be born with an innate, incurable fascination with Strange, and its exploration led to the discovery of Arcadia and the subsequent ascension of Fey Gods that founded the Ancient Courts.

| It is unclear why there was a pause in Fey Court foundations for almost 300 years, but it is believed that many of the Shattered Courts ascended with help from the [[Ancient Courts]].
