The Sugar Court was one of the Midnight Courts and Bright Courts of Arcadia, renamed in the early Dark Age. It was renamed by the Fey God, The Candy King, c. NIR 1360. It was previously known as The Crystal Court. It was later fused with The Greater Court as part of The Concordance, c. NIR 1750, to become one of the Concordant Courts, called The Greater Sugar Court.

The Court was still an exploration of the Strange Essence of Substance. It was still founded on a philosophy of artistry and mastery. The Wayward King's obsession expanded after The War of Erasure, however, to include experienced satisfaction or achievement as an expression meaning in mastery. The Court was still populated by Gnomes.
