Main > Fury

Fury (Enchiridian, Furytongue: Makor, meaning origin or source) is the oldest of the four origins of the universe.

Lore

Lore about Origin of Fury comes mainly through from immortals and cults of the titans. As the immortals and titans are ancient enemies, it is difficult to know the extent of the biases, exaggerations, and outright fabrications concerning the details of this origin.

History

The Lost Age

Fury is the oldest of the origins, and was the only Origin in the universe during the Lost Age. As such, all history about the Lost Age is conveyed through the survivors of Fury.

During the Lost Age, the titans of Fury waged an eternal and violent Contest Eternal for dominance of the universe. The pawns in their game for supremacy were the other primals.

The First Age

During the First Age, the primals warred with the Founders during the Foundation War. By the end of this conflict, the titans and their servants were defeated and imprisoned by the Founders. Only dragons and immortals which aided the Founders were not imprisoned.

For the rest of the First Age, the imprisoned powers of Fury were exploited by the Founders in order to power The Apparatus and its Integrum.

The Gilded Age

For the entire Guilded Age, the vast majority of the powers of Fury were imprisoned within The Apparatus. The dragons were comfortably imprisoned in Dragon Home and the immortals, with the exception of Pendulum, were comfortably imprisoned in Heroes' Rest.

The Shattered Age

After The Shattering, the prisons of the titans and their minions began to weaken. While no titans were freed, the Shattered Age saw stormhearts and realmlings invading and corrupting the Integrum. This influence also marked the rise of the cults of the titan, which grow in influence and power over the Shattered Age.

The Dark Age

After The Fall, the prisons of the titans were weakened even further. This led to the escape of several titans, who warred with the powers of the Integrum and each other. While most of the titans were able to be re-imprisoned, several remain free. Combined with the extant escaped primals and titan Cults, the Dark Age marks Fury becoming a true power in the universe again.

The Dawn Age

In the current Dawn Age, the origin of Fury remains a small but significant power within the universe. The vast majority of titans and their servants are still imprisoned within The Apparatus, powering the Integrum. However, several titans remain free, along with numerous stormhearts, realmlings and titan cults.

Realms

There are no realms with a true Fury origin. However, Fury has leaked out of its Integral prison in a few instances, creating areas of Fury influence.

Creatures

Creatures of the Fury origin are collectively called primals.

Paths to Power

  • Sorcery. Also called Fury Magic. Can only be practiced by creatures with a Fury Origin.
  • Aberrance. The result of Integral Origin creatures surviving Fury corruption.
  • Ardentia. Survivors of The Solipse who align their natures with Fury.
