Pendulum

Overview
Pendulum (Commontongue) is a self-chosen name for this individual. Titans refer to him as Tulum in Furytongue, meaning time or cycle due to the fact that he was an ancient even in the Lost Age. Servitors refer to him as Zamanalakh in Foundertongue, meaning time walker.
Lore about Pendulum is common but very unreliable, coming primarily from Pendulum himself. As an immortal from the Lost Age, the only creatures with direct knowledge of his origins are other primals, and their knowledge of him is incomplete. And like most powerful creatures, Pendulum is neither easily studied nor forthcoming with his secrets.
History
Pendulum's history is as extensive as any creature of the universe.
The Lost Age
During the Lost Age, Pendulum was an immortal of the powers of Fury. Though it is difficult to confirm, it is believed that Pendulum was the oldest immortal of the Lost Age. Titans often fought over his allegiance, as any game within the Contest Eternal would be extremely likely to win with Pendulum as an ally.
Of course, being a powerful player in the Contest also made Pendulum powerful enemies. Some titans sought his destruction, to take him out of the Contest permanently. Many stormhearts sought revenge for being defeated in a grand game. Dragons and other immortals mostly avoided Pendulum when they could, or sought him out for aid when desperate.
The First Age
Pendulum was among a small number of immortals and dragons that paved the way for a wider alliance with the Founders before the Foundation War. When Pendulum decided to ally with the Founders, many other dragons and immortals saw the opportunity in a different light, seeing wisdom where once there was only folly.
Pendulum helped strategize with the Founders, choosing which titans to attack, and when to attack them. Pendulum revealed many of the secrets of consolidation to servitors of the Founders, which led to the invention of the rending weapon. Pendulum also directly confronted the forces of the titans, most famously at the Battles of the Shattered Shores.
After the end of the war, Pendulum was the only Immortal that was not forced to reside in the comfortable prison of Heroes' Rest.
The Gilded Age
Instead of being imprisoned during the Gilded Age, Pendulum continued to aid the Founders. He was not permitted to roam the Integrum, as Integral destiny had no place for him. But he was allowed to work in the barrier realms with servitors and gods to maintain the Integrum and keep it safe. For example, Pendulum created methods to detect Fury corruption where its power leaked out of the Integrum.
The Shattered Age
After The Shattering, Pendulum was free to roam the Integrum, and was often asked to do so by the Founders in order to aid in its repair after the cataclysm. Pendulum took a particular fascination with The Anomaly, and with it founded the path to power known as the arcanistry.
The Dark Age
After The Fall, Pendulum seemed to go into hiding. In secret, he aided the Golden Throne in deciphering Linessa's Prophecy.
The Dawn Age
Description
Like all Immortals, Pendulum was crafted an Integral body with which to safely inhabit the Integrum. However Pendulum's internal nature is that of a creature of Fury. He appears as an adult Fey man.
Pendulum dresses in an ensemble that blends elegance with practicality. He wears a long, flowing robe made of a shimmering, iridescent fabric that changes color subtly with the light. The robe is belted at the waist with a sash that contains various arcane symbols embroidered in silver thread, each symbol representing the significant discoveries in his long life. Beneath his robe, he wears durable, finely crafted leather garments that allow him to move freely in combat or exploration. He wears a single earring in the shape of a key.
His hair is kept long and is stark white, not from age but from the magic he wields, which has bleached it over the millennia. It flows from his head like tendrils of watery light, often loosely tied at the nape of his neck. Pendulum's eyes are a deep, vivid azure, mirroring the depth of the oldest oceans. They sparkle with an internal light, a manifestation of his profound magical prowess and the vast knowledge he has accumulated. As with many Immortals, when Pendulum casts spells or focuses intensely, his eyes might flicker with tiny bolts of lightning or swirl with mist, reflecting the stirring of Fury beneath his Integral form. His skin has an almost translucent quality, with a slight luminescence that makes him stand out in any light. This otherworldly glow hints at his immortal nature and the centuries of exposure to magical energies. The skin is covered in tiny scars and blemishes, hinting at the extreme age of his body that do not agree with his otherwise youthful features.
Pendulum wields a staff that is as old as he is, crafted from the wood of a tree that once stood at the nexus of ley lines in an ancient enchanted forest. The staff is topped with a crystal that pulses with a light from within, containing a trapped storm—a trophy from his defeat of a powerful Stormheart. He also carries an ancient tome attached to his belt, its cover a dark leather clasped in silver.
