Overview

Skathi (Old Nor \ˈskɑði\) is a name with no semantic meaning. Lore about Skathi is rare and incomplete, as little is known of the origins of the Shard Gods.

History

Myths say that Skathi awakened in the state of pursuit, defining her role as an eternal huntress. She awoke on the slopes now known as Frostmarch Reaches, around the Ice Heart of Acrolon. She was more distant from the other Shard Gods of Acrolon, preferring her own company to those of Mortals or her peers.

During The First Godswar, Skathi aligned with Fenrir in his assertion that strength and independence should lead the Gods of Acrolon, and that Mortals should bow in service to the divine. Skathi killed Anyot, but lost an eye in the battle. Skathi was killed by Thyr in retribution. Though Thyr was victorious in their battle, Skathi froze Thyr's arm and shattered it.
