Overview

Integration (Enchiridian) is named in part for its existence as the process which created the Integrum.

Almost nothing is known of the Integration, except its name, goals, and consequence. What information is known comes from dragons and immortals glimpsed parts of the early process, but only Pendulum was present for all of it.

Timeline

Technically the Integration began soon after the onset of the Foundation War. The Founders imprisoned the titans as they were defeated, not only to prevent their reemergence into the war, but also to fuel the construction of the Integrum from The Apparatus. But the process sped up precipitously after the end of the conflict.

1536: The Astral Sky was created.
1791: The Great Barrier was completed.
1812: Heroes' Rest, Dragon Home, and Dread Hold are completed.
1845: The Terrestrium was completed.
1953: The Grand Designs of Form and Pattern were completed.
2169: The Grand Designs of Summer and Winter were completed.
2277: The Grand Designs of Spring and Autumn were completed.
2061: The Grand Designs of Day and Night were completed.
2334: The Grand Design of Destiny was completed.
2340: The Awakening ends the First Age.

Causes

The Integration is caused by the victory of the Founders over the titans in the Foundation War. The Integration is believed to have been the goal of the Founders in their war against the titans.

Major Events

Containment

1812 FC: The titans, stormhearts, and realmlings were imprisoned into astral prisons throughout the Foundation War as they were defeated, however after the war there was still a large number of creatures that would not be permitted to exist in the Founders creation of the Integrum. This includes their allies in the Foundation War: dragons and immortals, as well as the enemies which were not suitable for astral prisons: abominations.

After the final binding of the Foundation War, these groups were ushered into their permanent homes within the Integrum. Dragon Home was a comfortable prison for the dragons, Heroes' Rest was a comfortable prison for the immortals, and Dreadhold was a prison for the abominations.

The Awakening

2340 FC: The paragons (race) of the Integrum were awakened, beginning the Gilded Age. More at The Awakening.

Consequences

The Integration was one of the most consequential events in the history of the universe, as it marked the end of the rule of the titans in their Contest Eternal and the beginning of the rule of the Founders and their own plans for the universe in the Integrum.
